The observation of how children behave with objects allowed me to highlight the fact that objects usage by young people is open and varied. As we grow up, we – adults – lose the diversity of uses and feelings. Starting the conception with these alternative uses and interpreting them is a way for me to renew the adults’ product experience with the vision of a child. These new products can lead to enjoyment, entertainment, surprise, escape, daydream, or to the questioning of established usages. This master thesis concluded the theoretical part of my diploma project. The conception and the practical part is currently taking place.
